MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn girls basketball team built a big first-half lead and then withstood a second-half rally to defeat Chatham, 58-55, Friday night.

Leila Dean Stansberry scored 21 points for Millburn (8-2), which outscored Chatham, 14-7, in the second quarter to open a 33-23 lead. But Chatham (8-4) charged back to within two points with a 19-11 surge in the third quarter.

Kayla Wolf finished with 11 points and Gina Saggio scored 10 points for the Millers. Rachel Hubertus had eight points, nine rebounds and four assists in the victory.
