MILLBURN, NJ — After wrestling got their turn in the spotlight for senior night, the girls' basketball team stepped up to the plate, when they took on Livingston in the main gym Thursday evening.

The team honored Taylor Nemet, Paige Nemet, Claire Kirshembaum, Brooke Exelbert, Avery Schwab and Zoe Lechtman, as well as managers Caroline Carriddi and Elie Forster in a pre-game ceremony before tipping off against Livingston.

Following the ceremony, Millburn would play Livingston, dropping the contest by a 45-28 score. Exelbert led the team in scoring with eight points and Rachel Lutsky had seven points.

Millburn head Coach Stacy Dinner spoke with TAPinto after the game, and had nothing but praise for her senior class.

"This has been an amazing group of seniors," Dinner said. "We are going to miss them very much next season. This night was about them, and they did a great job."

"This is going to be a tough group to replace," Dinner added. "The leadership, the support, the team, the bonding. This is going to be a tough group to replace."
