MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn girls basketball team has a new head coach and will have a new look when the Millers open the season Friday night at Bloomfield High school.

Stacy Dinner has taken over as the new Millburn head coach. The team graduated four starters from last year's team, with only junior Leila Dean Stansberry returning from last year's starting five.

Also back are seniors Niamh Freeman and Peri Lamkin and junior Gina Saggio. Despite the relative inexperience, Millburn was actually elevated this season into a more competitive division, the American Division of the Super Essex Conference. The Millers will be facing tougher teams from bigger schools, such as Friday's opening opponent, on a more regular basis.
