MILLBURN, NJ - Approximately 50 local community organizations and high school clubs were in attendance at the Community Service Fair to share information and volunteer opportunities with students and their parents on Thursday. A bake sale held by the Millburn High School Key Club raised $140 which will be donated to the Susan G. Komen organization, which was represented at the fair.

The Culture and Citizenship Implementation Team of the Millburn Strategic Plan conceived of and organized the fair as one of the character education initiatives in their mission. Their goal is to make opportunities available to students to foster lifelong service and volunteerism. The implementation team is made up of teachers, staff, parents and community members.
