The Music Department of Millburn High School proudly presents its annual Spring Band Concert on Wednesday, May 17 at 7:30 P.M. in the high school auditorium. This concert is free and open to the public. Ensembles are under the direction of Ms. Mindy Scheierman, Director of Bands, and Mr. Matthew Spatz, Associate Director of Bands. 
This concert celebrates the composers and music of America. Wind Ensemble, an advanced ensemble of students in grades 9-12, will perform works by Russell Peck and John Barnes Chance. Concert Band (grade 9) and two Symphonic Bands, Blue and White (grades 10-12), will perform music by composers including John Philip Sousa, Edwin Franko Goldman, Frank Erickson, Jack Stamp, Frank Ticheli, Mark Williams, Karl L. King, a medley originally arranged for The Canadian Brass, and a dixieland concerto by James Warrington.

All senior band students will be recognized at this concert for their contributions to the music department. This concert will be professionally recorded and CD orders will be accepted in the lobby.
