SHORT HILLS, NJ - Julia Newman is a high school filmmaker living in Short Hills, New Jersey. Her portfolio includes documentaries, short films, music videos, and commercials.

In her latest documentary, The Enigmatic Life Cycle of Waste, she explores where our trash goes.

Along with being a filmmaker, Julia is a writer and musician. Her films have been selected to show at the 2016 Millburn Film Fest (NJ), the 2015 Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles, the 2015 NYC Ocktoberfest in Harlem, the 2015 Gold Coast International Film Festival in New York, and the 2015 Millburn Film Fest (NJ.) 

She hopes to enter more film festivals as she expands her portfolio, as well as attend an undergraduate film school in the Fall of 2017.
