Millburn High School Students Learn about Job Skills at Boxed.com in Union.

On February 8, 2018, select students from the Millburn High School Transition Program toured the Union warehouse of the “Boxed” company. The company provided a behind the scenes look at what jobs at a warehouse look like.  During the visit to Boxed, students were given the opportunity to see a variety of different types of jobs in this kind of company.

Boxed is an online retailer delivering bulk-sized groceries and everyday essentials for home and office. Customers can shop at Boxed.com with fast delivery, no wholesale membership club fees, and free samples with every order.

Students in the Millburn transition program benefit from seeing different types of job options so that they can develop a plan for their life beyond high school.  The generosity of companies like Boxed is important in providing real world examples of work  for students.
