Millburn High School to Host Its Annual College Night

MILLBURN, NJ - Millburn High School is hosting its annual College Night on Monday, Nov. 7 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  The event will take place in the high school gymnasium as well as in several classrooms on the second floor.
Millburn High School hosts College Night in conjunction with Livingston High School. 9th through 12th grade students and parents from all schools and surrounding communities are invited to participate.  More than 175 colleges from across the country will be represented at the event. Once again the Millburn High School PTO will be providing a Chinese Buffet from the local Jade Lake Restaurant for all attending college representatives.  The PTO will also be sponsoring a hospitality room throughout the night for representatives.
Tables will be set up with two colleges per table; students and parents can visit with the college representatives and obtain literature on the schools.  College Night also has been expanded to include two sessions of a financial aid workshop presented by the Educational Funding Consultants Association.  The workshop, which lasts approximately one hour, is being offered at 7:00 p.m. and again at 8:00 p.m. in the health room adjacent to the high school gymnasium.
College Night, which was initiated roughly 20 years ago, is always a popular and successful event.   It is sure to be a benefit to any student at any grade level.  For questions, please contact the Millburn High School Guidance Office at 973-56407130,  x139.
