WEST ORANGE, NJ – The Millburn ice hockey team fell to Gov. Livingston, 3-1, on Monday after soundly defeating the Highlanders 5-0 in December.

Falling behind, 3-0, by 6:52 in the second, the Millers tried to battle back on a goal by Charles Palmer, assisted by Spencer Brown, at 13:35 of the period, but couldn't sustain the rally.

Millburn pulled goalie Gabe Nadell at 1:43 in the third for an extra attacker, but failed to create any opportunities. Jack Williams took a tripping penalty, and Palmer joined him in sealing the Millers fate.
