MILLBURN, NJ - Storm weary Milburn Township bared down and prepared for the fourth storm of the season set to kick off on the first day of spring. Winter Storm Toby largely spared Millburn with JCP&L reporting only four of their 8,123 customers (less than 1%)  without power as of 8:20 pm. PSE&G reported no outages in the Township.

Comparatively, Winter Storm Quinn left over 46.7% of JCP&L customers powerless right after the storm. Some 1,283 residents had their powered restored within two days, but 2,422 were left waiting bringing the percentage for the township down to 29.80%. Some residents didn't regain power until Monday. Millburn Township accounted for 79% of outages in Essex County with Winter Storm Quinn.
