MILLBURN, NJ - On or about August 2 construction will begin on the sidewalk in Lot 5 between the rear entrances of Dunkin’ Donuts and La Strada. The work will include moving the granite block curb to widen the parking lot area and create a 4-foot wide bump out along the curb line for truck loading and unloading. The sidewalk will also be relocated and a new retaining wall with an aluminum railing will be installed. Parking will be available in Lot 5, however to safely accomplish this work the parking lot area adjacent to the work site will be closed to all through traffic during construction. Truck deliveries will be accommodated via the driveway from Essex Street and pedestrians will continue to have access to the rear entrances of both Dunkin’ Donuts and La Strada. A Traffic Officer will be on site during construction to assist truck deliveries and pedestrians. The parking area will reopen to through traffic at the end of each workday. This work is weather dependent and is expected to last for 5 days.
