MILLBURN, NJ - Are you interested in becoming more involved in MMAC? Do you have ideas for programming that would help parents like you navigate the challenges of raising happy, healthy and balanced kids in our community? Then MMAC needs YOU!
The Millburn Municipal Alliance Committee is a community based, volunteer organization comprised of representatives from township schools –administrators, staff and parents- as well as from our local businesses, law enforcement, government and community service groups. M-MAC is committed to providing comprehensive drug and alcohol awareness, education and prevention services for all age groups in our community. M-MAC focuses on strengthening community collaborations as well as implementing comprehensive school and community programs that promote drug and alcohol free lifestyles.
M- MAC is recruiting new members to join our board for the 2016-2017 school year. The time commitment is flexible and the rewards are immeasurable!
- Become an M-MAC School Rep - School reps attend the quarterly board meetings and other M-MAC events and then help disseminate MMAC information back to the PTOs and parents.
- M-MAC Secretary -The secretary takes minutes at the board meetings and works with the coordinator to publicize upcoming events and activities.
- Join a Committee: M-MAC also need committee members to help organize a Town Hall presentation this fall, Red Ribbon Week in October and Family Meal Week in April.
