Millburn Non-Profit Down The Block Invites Community on Family Fun Hike

MILLBURN, NJ - On the heels of the Millburn Township Committee proclaiming June "Down The Block Month" the local non-profit announced an education hike and guided tour of the South Mountain Reservation.

The hike on June 25, at 11:00 am will be guided by Cheryl Faine, a longtime resident with a Masters in Exercise Physiology, ACSM and cancer recovery certifications and owner of Cheryl Faine Fitness.

Armed with our maps provided by down the block, Cheryl will help participants stretch and tone, while she provides a bit of history and surprises about the reservation.  Hikers should meet at the Locust Grove parking area, directly across from the Millburn train station.

To support our neighbors in need, down the block recommends a donation of $10 per person or $20 per family.  Donations can be made in advance at www.downtheblock.org or on the day of the hike by cash or check.  For any questions, please contact down the block at contact@downtheblock.org

Our mission is to provide short-term assistance to those of our Township neighbors facing unexpected financial setbacks.
