Millburn Par 3 Golf Championship

Millburn Recreation Par 3 Championship Trophy Winners

MILLBURN, NJ - 15 year old Arnav Awasthi had 7 straight pars from the 2nd through 8th holes on the way to a score of 29 to capture the Millburn Recreation Department's Par 3 Championship title.  Lee Alvarez, George Eliopoulos, Sin Cheng Lin and Scott Morgan all tied for second place overall, each scoring a 32.  Elaine Davis pared the first playoff hole to edge Kathy Weissman for the womens’ overall title.  Each had shot a 39 after regulation play.

Bryan Levine won the closest to the hole contest with a shot that landed 7’2” from the pin on the 9th hole and Wanda Vreeland was closest to the pin in the womens’ catergory with a shot 8’8” from the pin.
