Millburn Police Blotter

On June 25, 2015, Millburn Police responded to 4 reports of motor vehicle burglaries which occurred overnight between June 24 and June 25. The residences were located on Linden Street, Cypress Street, and Myrtle Avenue. The homeowners reported the vehicles were left unlocked in the driveways, and stated the thefts included loose change and a $20 bill. No damage was done to any of the vehicles. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 25, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to a Cypress Street residence on a report of a stolen motor vehicle report which occurred overnight between June 24 and June 25. The resident reports his 2011 Honda CRV was taken from his driveway. The incident is under the investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.

On June 25, Millburn Police Officer Silance responded to Saks Fifth Avenue at the Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Saks Fifth Avenue personnel report Gillian Rosenberg, 45-years-old of West Orange, carried two articles of clothing valued at $365 without making payment. Mrs. Rosenberg was also found to have stolen property from several other stores. She was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property. She was released pending a court date.

On June 26, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to Burberry at the Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Burberry personnel report the theft of eight articles of clothing valued at $1400 on June 24. The incident is under the investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.

On June 27, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Bloomingdales at the Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report two black females concealed several articles of clothing valued at $2062 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Department Detective Bureau.

On June 28, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Tavares responded to Bloomingdales at the Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report Jean Irving, 35-years-old of East Orange, concealed two articles of clothing valued at $412 and left the store without making payment. Ms. Irving  was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of shoplifting. She was released pending a court date.

“These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or found guilty in a court of law.

Three High-End Retailers Hit by Thefts; Millburn Police Investigating

On June 19, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report a black male wearing a red hat, black winter coat, and tan backpack concealed 2 pairs of headphones valued at $498.00 in his backpack and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
