On May 31, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Macys on a theft report. Macys personnel report 18 year old Zahirah Johnson out of Newark concealed 5 shirts valued at $109.90 in her purse and left the store without making payment. A 16 year old female out of Newark accompanied the adult and concealed 1 shirt valued at $39.50 and left the store without making payment. Both actors were placed under arrest. Ms. Johnson was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility on an outstanding warrant. The juvenile was released to a parent.

On May 31, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to a Forest Drive residence on a burglary report. The resident reports between May 26-31, 2017 unknown actor/s entered the residence and took jewelry and cash from a bedroom. Entry was possibly gained from a bathroom window. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On May 31, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Salemi stopped a 2003 Honda Accord on JFK Pkwy near the mall for improper tint. The investigation led to the arrest of 22 year old Michelle Spooner out of East Orange and 21 year old Michael Joseph out of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Ms. Spooner and Mr. Joseph were both released on a summons.

On June 1, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski stopped a 2000 BMW on JFK Pkwy south for an inoperable brake light. The investigation led to the arrest of the 48 year old driver Caroline Britt out of Irvington on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Paramus. Ms. Britt was issued summonses for revoked driving and maintenance of lamps and released with a new court date.

On June 1, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Tavares stopped a 2013 Nissan Altima on Rt 124/Broad St for improper tint. The investigation led to the arrest of 23 year old Brian Quettent out of Maplewood and 23 year old Brian Askew out of South Orange for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Quettent and Askew were released on a summons.

On June 1, 2017 at 11:35 pm Millburn Police Officers Salemi and Royce conducted a stop of a 2005 Toyota Corrolla on Crest Drive in violation of the ordinance. The investigation led to the arrest of 22 year old Corie Knight out of Linden for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Knight was released on a summons.

On June 2, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to headquarters on a theft report. Shoprite personnel report 2 white males, 1 described as wearing a black jacket, Knicks shirt, and black hat, and 1 wearing a white hat, concealed 92 packages of batteries valued at $386.15 in their jackets and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 2, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Sunglass Hut store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sunglass Hut personnel report a black female described as 5’7” wearing a blue shirt and blue tye dye leggings accompanied by a black female wearing a white top, jeans, black hat, and Vans sneakers concealed 2 pairs of sunglasses valued at $785.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 3, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to the Loro Piana store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Loro Piana personnel report on May 28, 2017 a black male entered the store on 2 separate occasions and concealed 3 articles of clothing valued at $5015.00 under his jacket and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 3, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to the Bose store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Bose personnel report 24 year old Kamar Baldwin from Charlotte, NC concealed an Ipad valued at $269.00 in his pants and left the store without making payment. Mr. Baldwin was located in the mall and placed under arrest. Mr. Baldwin was also found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Baldwin was released on a summons.

On June 3, 2017 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 28 year old Nicole Beratta out of NY,NY concealed 2 items valued at $72.00 and left the store without making payment. Ms. Beratta was also found to be in possession of stolen property from Victoria Secrets and Papyrus. Ms. Beratta was charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property and released on a summons.

On June 4, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to Kings on a report of an individual in the store who committed a theft of a wallet on May 11, 2017. The investigation led to the arrest of 35 year old Todd Ovsiew out of Florham Park. Mr. Ovsiew was charged with theft and released on a summons.

On June 4, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to the Sephora store on a theft report. Sephora personnel report a black male wearing a grey hat, black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white/black shoes concealed a fragrance valued at $105.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 5, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to a Sinclair Terrace residence on a stolen vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s took his 2016 BMW 750 from his garage. The vehicle was located on Richeleu Terrace in Newark. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 6, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Lipke responded to a Silver Spring Road residence on a stolen vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s took her 2011 Land Rover from the driveway. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 6, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report that occurred on June 3, 2017. Louis Vuitton personnel report a black female wearing a black head wrap, denim shirt, and blue jeans concealed 2 pairs of sneakers valued at $1590.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
