On July 5, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a Mitsubishi Lancer on South Orange/Brookside for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of a 17-year-old male from East Orange, 32-year-old Desmon Moultrie out of East Orange, and 18-year-old Daquan Summers out of East Orange for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (oxycodone and marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was released to a parent. Mr. Moultrie and Summers were issued summonses and released.

On July 6, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Salemi stopped a 2016 Hyundai Elantra on Old Short Hills/Fox Hill Rd for having tinted windows. The driver, 21-year-old Jamie Connell out of West Orange, was found to have an outstanding traffic warrant out of Newark. Ms. Connell was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters. Ms. Connell was released with a new court date.

On July 6, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Royce responded to a Western Drive residence on a motor vehicle theft report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s took her 2016 Land Rover from the driveway. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 6, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to the Monmouth County Jail on a warrant arrest. Juan Alvaradoibaceta, age 28 out of the Bronx, was placed under arrest on an outstanding Millburn criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On July 6, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Louis Vuitton personnel report a black male wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, white t-shirt, and white shorts took a backpack valued at $1760.00 and ran from the store without making payment.  The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 6, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to the Elizabeth Police Department on a warrant arrest. Alfredo Rodriguez, age 70 out of Elizabeth, was placed under arrest on an outstanding Millburn criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.
