MILLBURN/SHORT HILLS, NJ - On April 9, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to the Essex County Courthouse on a warrant arrest. Joseph Ciullo, age 47 of East Hanover, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

Also on April 9, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag stopped a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe on Rt 124/Broad for speeding and making an unsafe lane change. The investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Elizabeth Olla of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Ms. Olla was issued a summons and released.

On April 11, 2019, at approximately 4:04 am Millburn Police responded to a Canterbury Lane residence on a report of burglaries to motor vehicles. A resident reports seeing 3 males pulling on car door handles of vehicles in driveways and fleeing after noticing him. One resident reports their 2018 Jeep Cherokee and 2016 Honda Pilot were entered and the contents of the center consoles ransacked. Nothing appeared to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

Also on April 11, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to the Tory Burch store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Tory Burch personnel report a Hispanic female in her 20’s approximately 5’4” 125 lbs wearing a blue baseball cap, dark blue shirt, gray hooded sweatshirt, and gray pants selected and concealed 2 bags valued at $646.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On April 13, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Louis Vuitton personnel report a black female in her late 20’s approximately 5’6” tall wearing a red sweatshirt and black leggings concealed a handbag valued at $4200.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

Also on April 13, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Macy's on a theft report. Macy's personnel report a black male with dread locks wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants took 6 items valued at $842.00 and left the store without making payment.  The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

And On April 14, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Gucci store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Gucci personnel report a black female wearing a black shirt, black pants, and pink sneakers concealed a pair of sunglasses valued at $1015.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
