MILLBURN, NJ - The following is the Millburn Police Department blotter for Nov. 5-11, 2019:

On November 5, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Abercrombie and Fitch store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Abercrombie personnel report 48 year old Boone Lacy of Brooklyn concealed $493.00 worth of merchandise in a bag and left the store without making payment. Mr. Lacy was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On November 5, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2002 Ford Econoline on Rt 24 West for having an unclear plate. The investigation led to the arrest of 30 year old George Johnson of Pennsauken for obstruction and unsworn falsification. Mr. Johnson was issued a summons and released.

On November 7, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to a Millburn Ave residence on a criminal mischief report. The resident reports sometime overnight an unknown actor smashed his rear cab window of his 2016 Ford F150 truck by throwing a rock through it. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 7, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Sunglass Hut store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sunglass Hut personnel report 40 year old Anupam Dass of Mechanicsburg, PA concealed a pair of sunglasses valued at $213.00 in his sleeve and left the store without making payment. Mr. Dass was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of stolen property from the Lululemon and Tumi stores. Mr. Dass was issued a summons and released.

On November 7, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2006 Mazda 3 on Rt 24 West/Chatham line for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 25 year old Kamal Ross of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Ross was issued a summons and released.

On November 8, 2019 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black female wearing all black concealed 3 coats valued at $1395.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 9, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa stopped a 2001 Honda Accord for going the wrong way on Essex St. The investigation led to the arrest of 62 year old Carlos Navarro of East Orange for driving under the influence. Mr. Navarro was issued a summons and released.

On November 9, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lipke responded to a Haddonfield Rd residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered her 2018 Audi Q5 and ransacked the interior. Nothing was reported missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 11, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to headquarters on a theft report. The victim reports the theft of her wallet from her purse while she was at Panera on November 10, 2019. The victim reports the wallet contained credit cards, $400.00 cash, and identification. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 11, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Goldfarb responded to a Delbarton Drive residence on a burglary report. A realtor reports an unknown actor/s damaged the water meter and valves in the basement causing water damage. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
