On July 18, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Freem responded to the Community Congregational Church on Hartshorn Drive on a theft report. A T-Mobile employee reports the theft of 8 back up batteries and 2 connector cords valued at $2100.00 from a gated area on the property within the last day. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 18, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2001 Dodge Neon on Millburn/Reeves after the driver threw debris from the vehicle. The 36-year-old driver, Sonsorrea Mcnair out of Newark, was found to have an active traffic warrant out of Newark and was placed under arrest. Ms. Mcnair was issued a summons and released with a new court date.

On July 19, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 19-year-old Caroline Schlobohm out of New Providence concealed 30 items valued at $843.00 in her purse and left the store without making payment. Ms. Schlobohm was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On July 20, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2002 Subaru Legacy on Morris Turnpike near Kings for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 18-year-old Tyree Gatling out of Edison and 19-year-old Anthony Garcia out of Brooklyn for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Gatling and Garcia were released on a summons.

On July 21, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Salemi responded to a Woodcrest Ave residence on a report of a burglary and motor vehicle theft. The resident reports at approximately 3:11 am unknown actor/s entered his house through an unlocked garage door taking keys for a 2017 Audi Q7. The Audi was taken from the driveway. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 21, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Hay responded to a Thackery Drive residence on a theft report. The resident reports an unknown actor took a package delivered on July 13, 2017, valued at $36.22 containing cell phone batteries from his front porch. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 21, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to an Old Short Hills Rd residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight an unknown actor entered her 2017 GMC Acadia parked her in the driveway, however nothing appears to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 21, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Tavares responded to the Louis Vuitton store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Louis Vuitton personnel report a white male wearing a white baseball cap, tan shirt, khaki shorts, and black sneakers took 2 pairs of sneakers valued at $1380.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 23, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to a Highland Ave residence on a motor vehicle theft report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s took her 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee from the driveway and entered a 2017 Mercedes and 2006 Porsche. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 23, 2017, Millburn Police Officer McMillan stopped a 2013 Toyota Camry on South Orange Ave/Winthrop for disregarding a red traffic signal. The investigation led to the arrest of 38-year-old Cheick Yansane out of Irvington for traffic warrants out of Rockaway, Newark, Roseland, and Irvington. Mr. Yansane was issued a summons and turned over to the Rockaway Police Department. 

On July 24, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 18-year-old Zaneyah Fryer out of Newark concealed 7 items valued at $146.00 and left the store without making payment. Ms. Fryer was also found to be in possession of 4 stolen items from Victoria Secrets valued at $40.00. Ms. Fryer was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property before being released on a summons.

On July 24, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria on JFK Pkwy near the mall for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 20 year old Sharod Saunders out of Irvington, 28 year old Xavier Williams out of East Orange, and 24 year old Darryl Williamson out of Newark for possession of controlled dangerous substances (152 glassine envelopes of heroin, 13 bags of marijuana, 1 bag of cocaine, and 2 vials of cocaine). Mr. Saunders and Williams were remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility. Mr. Williamson was released with a summons.
