On April 25, 2017, Millburn Police Officer McMillan responded to Macys on a theft report. Macys personnel report 30-year old Andrew ODonnell out of Lyndhurst concealed seven items valued at $771.03 and left the store without making payment. Mr. ODonnell was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and assault before being remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.
On April 25, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Recinos responded to headquarters to take a theft report. The resident reports meeting an individual described as a black male 6’5” wearing a black/white sweatsuit at the Millburn Train Station. The male had agreed through Craigslist to purchase a Rolex watch valued at $6600.00. The individual took the watch and ran toward an awaiting Nissan Altima. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On April 26, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to Hudson Eye at 288 Millburn Ave on a report of a shoplifter in the store who committed a $2500.00 theft on April 22, 2017. The investigation led to the arrest of 49-year-old Ronna Reid out of Vauxhall for shoplifting. Ms. Reid was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.
