On January 31, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to the Millburn Municipal Court on a warrant arrest. Lawrence Browing, age 36 out of Staten Island, was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant out of Union. Mr. Browing was turned over to the Union Police Department.

On January 31, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to the Abercrombie and Fitch store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Abercrombie and Fitch personnel report 28 year old Bernadette Lampley concealed 4 articles of clothing valued at $472.00 in a booster bag and left the store without making payment. Sirena Donna, age 22 out of Neptune, concealed 12 articles of clothing valued at $1234.00 in a booster bag and left the store without making payment. Ms. Lampley and Donna were both charged with shoplifting and possession of an antishoplifting countermeasure and released with a summons.

On February 1, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2013 Hyundai  at Rt 124/Broad St. for operating with a tinted cover over its rear plate. The investigation led to the arrest of 20 year old George Francis, 21 year old Sean Mcnamara, 21 year old Drew James, and 21 year old Michael Facchinei out of Summit for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. All involved were released with a summons.

On February 2, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Crawn stopped a 2002 Nissan Altima on JFK Pkwy near the mall for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 18 year old Mohamed Kaba out of Newark, 20 year old Alpha Kaba out of Newark, and a juvenile male out of Union for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia. Mohamed Kaba was released on a summons. Alpha Kaba was issued a summons and turned over to the Jersey City Police Department on an outstanding criminal warrant. The juvenile was released to a parent.

On February 2, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to the Sydney Thomas store at The Mall at Short Hills on a fraud report. Sydney Thomas personnel report an individual, later determined to be 31 year old Donny Mompoint out of Brooklyn, attempted to use a stolen credit card to purchase a Rolex watch valued at $13,400.00. Mr. Mompoint was arrested and charged with credit card fraud and released with a summons.

On February 2, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Czupak responded to the Walking Store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Walking Store personnel report a white female with brown hair approximately 60 years old took a pair of shoes valued at $139.95 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On February 2, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2015 Honda Civic on South Orange Ave/Brookside Dr for an inoperable headlight. The investigation led to the arrest of the 44 year old passenger Michael Wiggins out of Newark on an outstanding traffic warrant out of East Orange. Mr. Wiggins was released with a new court date.

On February 3, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to the St. Rose of Lima parking lot on a criminal mischief report. The resident from Pine Ter East reports parking his 1995 Ford pickup truck in the lot on February 2, 2017 and finding the windshield smashed when he returned on February 3, 2017.  The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On February 3, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report a black male wearing a white hat, tan jacket, white sweater, and blue jeans took a handbag valued at $590.00 and left the store without making payment.  The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On February 4, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta stopped a 1999 Toyota Camry on South Orange Ave for having no working brake lights. The investigation led to the arrest of 31 year old Andre Wallace-Williams out of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Wallace-Williams was issued a summons and released.

On February 5, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Recinos responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report 31 year old Gary Abalsamo out of Bayonne selected 4 shirts valued at $1140.00 and left the store without making payment. Mr. Abalsamo was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On February 5, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to the Godiva store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. A patron reports accidentally leaving a purchased pair of shoes valued at $130.00 in the store, and when she returned could not locate the shoes. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On February 4-5, 2017 Millburn Police responded to 5 reports of burglaries to motor vehicles. Residents from Northern Drive, Park Place, Knollwood Road, Nottingham Road, and Athens Road report unknown actor/s entered vehicles parked in they’re driveways. The resident from Athens Road was the only victim reporting items were taken (laptop and work files). The vehicles entered were a 2015 Audi, 2015 Mercedes Benz, 2010 Mercedes Benz, 2014 Land Rover, and a 2015 Mercedes Benz. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
