MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn Police Department has provided an update to an incident mistakenly believed to be a carjacking on Myrtle Avenue.

According to Captain Michael Mulligan, the department spokesperson, the incident involved three juveniles burglarizing a vehicle, and was not a carjacking as previously thought.

Mulligan said that following the initial incident, Millburn Patrol Officers and Detectives made arrests in the case.

As always, residents whow spot crime in progress are urged to report it to the Millburn Police Department.
