MILLBURN, NJ - On May 15, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to Macys on a theft report. Macys personnel report 57-year-old Rosina Dukes of Irvington concealed $897.50 worth of merchandise in a booster bag and left the store without making payment. Ms. Dukes was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles. Ms. Dukes was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hypodermic needles. Ms. Dukes was turned over to the Hackensack Police Department on an outstanding criminal warrant.

Also on May 15, 2019, Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report a black male wearing a black sweatsuit, purple brimmed hat, and yellow sneakers and a black male wearing a brown sweatshirt and black pants took 4 bags from the Chanel Boutique valued at $14,800.00 and ran from the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On May 16, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 21-year-old Brianna Ali of Roseland concealed 2 items valued at $60.00 in her purse and left the store without making payment. Ms. Ali was charged with shoplifting and released on a summons.

Also on May 16, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Macys on a theft report. Macys personnel report a white male with brown hair wearing a long sleeve blue shirt, blue shorts, brown shoes, and carrying a Vineyard Vines shopping bag concealed 2 articles of clothing valued at $179.00 in his bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On May 17, 2019, Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to E lot at The Mall at Short Hills on a burglary to auto report. The patron reports between 2:35-4:05 pm unknown actor/s entered her 2017 Jeep Wrangler and took a purse, laptop, and airpods. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

And on May 19, 2019, Millburn Police Sergeant Tavares stopped a 1996 Toyota Corolla on South Orange/Exeter for having a front plate on the dashboard. The investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Johnathan Bewley of Morristown for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Bewley was issued a summons and released.
