Taylor Park and Gero Park playgrounds and basketballs courts, and the roller hockey court at Gero Park, will open with a modified schedule as per playground camp CDC and state Health Department guidelines. Visit for more information.

The township pool, tennis courts and golf course remain open.

Here are some of the guidelines for residents and visitors as these facilities reopen to the public. These guidelines are for the health and safety of both residents and staff:

Face coverings or masks are required inside our buildings. We have sneeze guards in place and hand sanitizing stations available for visitors. Staff will be wearing masks when interacting with the public.
Maintain social distancing inside the buildings. There will be signage indicating office, hallway and lobby occupancy. If you wish to use a restroom and it is occupied, please wait in the lobby or outside. Do not wait in hallways.
If you are sick or not feeling well, stay home. The township has been able to provide services to residents and visitors for the past four months by phone, email and online resources. Visit for information on how to interact with the township remotely.
There are some areas that are now designated as “Employee Only.” This is to limit traffic in tight spaces throughout the building. If you need someone, just ask, and they will come out to meet with you.
When possible, make an appointment to see a staff member by calling (973) 564-7000.
