Boy’s 7th-8th Grade Millburn Recreation Basketball Results  1/14/17 Games at Millburn Middle School

Longhorns      32        Nittany Lions 36

Jake Horne hit for 12 points (5 in 4th quarter) to lead the Longhorns for a come from behind win over the Nittany Lions who led 28-22 after 3 quarters.  Griffin Geller led the Nittany Lions with 12 points.

Hoyas             45        Pirates                        30

Max Rubin scored 12 points and Kavi Patel-Jhawar and Brandon Merves chipped in with 8 points each to lead the Hoyas.  Thomas Lam led the Pirates with 11 points.

Black Knights 26       Cardinals       15

Brett Basarab led all scorers with 15 points as the Black Knights raced out to a 22-8 lead after three quarters.

Hokies                        37        Redstorm       25

William Tokar (12 points) and Zach Barr (11 points) combined for 23 points to lead the Hokies.  Tokar and Barr combined for 10 points in the 4th quarter as the Hokies outscored the Redstorm 17-8.

Panthers         35        Hurricanes  22

Ryan Lawler and Jason Mazer combined for 23 points (Lawler score 12 points in second half) to lead the Panthers over the Hurricanes.  Alex Marx led the Hurricanes attack with 9 points.

Orangemen    52        Huskies           30

Eric Jones scored 23 points and Andrew Kanter hit for 20 points to lead the Orangemen.  Samuel Rosenblatt scored 12 points for the Huskies.

Bulldogs         46        Eagles             20

Nihaar Gopalji scored 12 of his game high 24 points in the first quarter as the Bulldogs raced out to a 16 point lead.  Mitchell Black hit for 12 points for the Eagles.

Alex Wilson lead the Timberwolves with 11 points and Samuel Berezin chipped in with 6 points.  Adam Toubes led the Trailblazers with 11 points and 6 rebounds.
