Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce Installs New Officers

MILLBURN, NJ – The Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting and awards ceremony at La Cucina di Clemenza Ristorante on Monday evening. 

The Chamber installed its slate of officers for 2014-2015 and paid tribute to special supporters and local businesses.

“Design and Renovation” awards were presented to Studio 1200, Millburn Deli and The Dining Room at Hilton Short Hills.

Special recognition was given to outgoing Chamber President Michael Shapiro, founder and CEO of

The Chamber also honored outgoing Director Lou LaSalle of Saint Barnabas Medical Center for his 15 years of service.

“Networking is what builds businesses,” LaSalle said. “Organizations like this Chamber of Commerce are the best way to network with other businesspeople in your community and I think this Chamber in particular does a great job for its members.  You are in good hands with your officers and I know your future is bright.”

On July 11, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan stopped a 2014 Honda Accord on Millburn/Vauxhall for speeding. The investigation led to the arrest of 22 year old Lyes Yakoubi of Jersey City on an outstanding traffic warrant out of West Windsor.
