Millburn Short Hills Summer Concerts in the Park Program Kicks Off June 24th

The Millburn Short Hills Summer Concerts in the Park program will kick off the summer with “STREET HASSLE” on Sunday, June 24th (7-8:30 pm).   All concerts are FREE to the public and take place in Taylor Park, at 100 Main Street, Millburn, NJ.

“Street Hassle” is “Yesterday and Today’s Premier Power Horn Band.  Their original material and revised interpretations of Classic Rock, Blues and Motown have made them a power house in the Northeast.  They feature a fabulous 6 piece horn section and 3 terrific female vocalists.  They will be performing some of your favorite music from classic bands like Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears and other classics from the 60s and 70s.  They have opened for headliners such as Steppenwolf, Blood Sweat & Tears and many other national acts, and we are delighted to have them.  So come out for an evening of family fun.  Refreshments will be sold by a local restaurant, Gian Marco Trattoria.

The lineup of great summer of entertainment continues with “Reminisce” on Sunday, July 8, North Jersey’s #1 Oldies Band; “The British Invasion Tribute” on Sunday, July 22,  playing your favorites from the Beatles, Dave Clark 5, the Stones and more, and “Silver Starlite Orchestra” on Sunday, August 5, playing big band swing, jazz and dance favorites.  All Sunday concerts have rain dates of the following Sunday.  Rain date announcements are available by calling 973 564-7096.
