MILLBURN, NJ - The annual Millburn Street Fair will take place on Sunday, April 21, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Millburn Avenue and Spring Street. Admission and parking are free. The festival is being organized by the Millburn/Short Hills Chamber of Commerce, who has announced that Investors Bank is the Premier Sponsor of the event.
Millburn Avenue and Spring Street will be lined with more than 150 artists, crafters, vendors and merchants. Those roads will be closed to vehicular traffic for the day, and free parking will be available in all municipal parking lots.
A wide selection of international foods will be available. Festivities will include live music, inflatable rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, games, clowns and jugglers.
DJ John will be spinning tunes for an “outdoor dance party” in lot #5 next to the municipal building, beginning at 11 AM, followed by a live performance by the Flying Dogs of Jupiter Band, who has performed all over New Jersey. WDHA-FM, and WMTR-AM radio stations will be on hand to award prizes until supplies run out.
At 4 PM, The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir will perform. The group consists of 40 singer/dancers from New Jersey, ages 16-22. The music will include everything from Broadway to Lady Gaga to the National Anthem.
