MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn Summer Swim Team is in full swing with four swim meets under their belt. Millburn kicked things off with Berkeley Heights at our home pool on June 28, but fell short with a final team score of 210 to 233. On June 29, Millburn swam at Livingston and clinched an important win of 225 to 193. Next Millburn faced off against Madison and Verona on July 5 and July 6 with double losses of 176 to 266 and 197 to 221, respectively.
Head coach, Jonas Singer, thinks kids should feel good about their hard work and dedication and said "I am proud of how our team is growing stronger over the course of the season." The team has also grown in size from 85 to 100 members and still counting.
The swimmers have two more weeks to continue to prove themselves in individual team competitions followed by Divisionals which will be held at the Millburn town pool at Gero Park on July 24 and the Meet of Champions hosted by New Providence on July 27.
