MILLBURN, NJ - Winter storm Quinn left much of Millburn Township in the dark with over 46.7% of JCP&L customers powerless right after the storm. Some 1,283 residents have had their powered restored as of Friday evening, but 2,422 are still left waiting bringing the percentage for the township down to 29.80%.
The estimated time for restoration in Millburn is Wednesday, March 14 at 11:30 pm.
The first outage for Millburn was reported on March 5 at 1:37 pm. Millburn Township has 6 substations and 90 miles of distribution lines. All 22 circuits in town are reported as damaged.
A total of 3,054 customers in Essex County are without power, but 79.27% of that number are in Millburn. Livingston makes up the difference 633 residents without power.
