MILLBURN, NJ - The 2017-2019 Public Works Pamphlet is now available on the Millburn Township website, and will be mailed to all Township residents in the coming weeks. The pamphlet includes information on curbside sanitation and recycling collection, services provided at the Public Works Yard, as well as leaf and vegetative waste collection. The last two pages of the pamphlet include the leaf collection schedules for 2017, 2018, and 2019.

The pamphlet contains new guidelines regarding the collection of curbside recyclables. In particular, when recyclables are placed at the curb, please ensure that they are secured in a reusable container that is clearly marked for recyclables. Millburn operates a Single Stream recycling program. The following materials can be placed in the same recycling bin:

  • Plastics 1-5 and 7
  • Glass, tin bi-metal, & aluminum cans
  • Cardboard
  • Mixed paper

All recyclables must be clean and dry before being placed at the curb.
