MILLBURN, NJ - At the behest of residents in town concerned with parking, Millburn Township will be enacting new parking rules on Gapview Road, and adding a new stop sign at the intersection of Dogwood Drive and Lupine Way.

On Gapview Road, pursuant to a change in chapter 7, section 7-11.1 of the Millburn traffic ordinance, the street will now have a three-hour time limit for parking between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Prior to the change, Gapview was the only street in the township within 1,000 feet of the train station without parking restrictions.

The other major change concerns section 7-20 of chapter 7. At the intersection of Dogwood Drive, Lupine Way and Forest Drive South, stop signs will now be placed on Dogwood and Lupine.

According to the changes passed by the township, the revision is being made to designate which street has right-of-way for through-traffic. The road area is most commonly used during pickup and dropoff at Glenwood School.
