MILLBURN, NJ - Millburn Township provided an update on the summer engineering projects happening around town and those already completed.
The resurfacing of Great Hills Road was completed, including the installation of ADA curb ramps. Essex County completed the milling and repaving of White Oak Ridge Road and Millburn Avenue.
The Infiltration and Inflow (I&I) Study is currently ongoing. Crews on behalf of Hazen and Sawyer will be present when the smoke testing is conducted, including the designated areas, and home owners will be notified vial mail as to the exact date(s) to which the test will begin. Main Street Milling, Repaving, and ADA Curb Ramps: July 2017
Work is expected to begin in the coming weeks. The Installation of curb ramps will last about 3 weeks, followed by milling and repaving. The project will be conducted by Fischer Contracting.
Municipal Lot 5 (adjacent to Town Hall): August 2017
The repaving and re-stripping of Lot 5 will take place this August. Construction will last approximately 2-3 days.
