MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn girls’ varsity volleyball team was triumphant in its first match of the season against St. Vincent. The team won the first game, 25-15 and the second game,  25-9.

There are 14 girls on the team. The team is composed of eight seniors, four juniors, and two freshmen. Co-captains are seniors Eliana Sirkin and Eva Raczkowski. The coach is Mikhel Sigalov who is a special education teacher on Staten Island.

Last year the team’s record was 13-3 and it went to both county and state tournaments. The girls describe their team as “tight knit, down-to-earth, and lots of fun."
