CALDWELL, NJ - On Saturday, June 4, 2016, the Millburn Youth Spring Track Team (4th-8th grade) sent their Championship team to compete in the Suburban League Championship meet at West Essex Regional High School, where they competed against the best track and field athletes from 11 other New Jersey towns.  Though the weather was steamy hot on the black track, Millburn found great success in both track and field events. 

Age group winners for Millburn were Evan Feldman (5th-6th grade, 1600m), Emily Segal (7th-8th, 1600m), Zoe Segal (5th-6th, 1600m), Ashley Bush (7th-8th, 800m), Jack Gerdes (4th, long jump) and Klara Har-El (5th-6th, long jump). 

Millburn athletes winning second-place medals were Abby Dranikoff (4th, 55m), Emily Mayo (5th-6th, 800m), Marie Kung (5th-6th, javelin), Aryan Kapoor (4th, 800m),  Devon Hampton (7th-8th, 400), and 5th-6thgirls 4x100 relay (Marie Kung, Maya Gurung, Eva Grise and Sidney Kinsale).

Third-place medals went to Camila Van Roon (4th, 200m), Ella Fedroff (4th, 800m), Matteo Santarella (5th-6th, 200m), Andrew Meyer (7th-8th, 200m), Tristan Simpson (4th, 400m), Henry Siegel (5th-6th, 800), AJ Spina (4th, javelin), and 4th boys 4x100 relay (Jack Gerdes, Eli Nashel, Spina and Simpson). 

Coaches Faith Nashel, Michael Feldman and Andrew Bush were excited about the excellent results and the numerous personal records set by the children, all of whom worked extremely hard this season.

National Weather Service Issues Heat Advisory thru Sunday for Millburn Township

Three High-End Retailers Hit by Thefts; Millburn Police Investigating

On June 19, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report a black male wearing a red hat, black winter coat, and tan backpack concealed 2 pairs of headphones valued at $498.00 in his backpack and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
