On March 1, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to a Martindale Rd residence on a report of a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered his 2016 Honda CRV and rummaged through the glove compartment and center console. Nothing appears to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On March 3, 2017 Millburn Police responded to reports of burglaries to motor vehicles on Wellington Ave, Woodcroft Place, and Locust Ave. The residents report sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered their 2010 Mini Cooper, 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan, and 2012 Chevrolet Traverse and rummaged through the glove compartments and center consoles. Loose change was taken from the Locust Ave vehicle. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On March 4, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Macys on a theft report. Macys personnel report 19 year old Lorvens Francois out of Hillside selected 9 articles of clothing valued at $920.00 and left the store without making payment. Mr. Francois was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. Mr. Francois was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.
On March 6, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2016 Kia on Hobart/South Terrace for the improper use of multiple beam equipment. The investigation led to the arrest of the 25 year old driver Fair Ahmed out of Brooklyn for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Ahmed was issued a summons and released.
