On January 17, 2016 Millburn Police Officer Salemi responded to a Wyndham Road residence on a burglary to auto report. The victim reports on January 16, 2017 between 7-8:00 pm unknown actor/s entered her 2015 Audi Q7 and ransacked the center console. Nothing appears to be missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 17, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to the Burberry store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Burberry personnel report 2 black females described as: one female wearing a red sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, black hat, and black purse and one female wearing a teal sweatshirt, black/white sweatpants, with a shopping bag entered the store and concealed 4 articles valued at $1870.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 18, 2017 Millburn Police responded to a burglary report on Jefferson Ave. The resident reports returning home and discovering his house burglarized and the actor still inside. Hasheem Sanders, age 37 out of East Orange, was located by a Summit Police Officer on Main St a short time later. The investigation led to the arrest of Mr. Sanders for burglary, criminal mischief, and theft. Mr. Sanders was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On January 19, 2017 Millburn Police Sergeant Poyner stopped a 1999 Dodge Grand caravan at the mall after being flagged down by personnel from Victoria Secrets stating the occupants had committed a theft. The investigation led to the arrest of 25 year old Mariah Labriola and 22 year old Channel Cutler both out of Long Branch for shoplifting. Ms. Cutler was also found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Talia Andrews, age 21 out of Long Branch, was placed under arrest for an outstanding criminal warrant out of Long Branch. Seventeen articles of clothing valued at $1177.30 from Victoria Secrets were recovered as well as merchandise from Modells, Hollister, and TJ Maxx. Ms. Cutler was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility on an outstanding warrant. Ms. Andrews was released with a new court date. Ms. Labriola was released with a summons.

On January 21, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to the Henri Bendel store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Henri Bendel personnel report a black female wearing a black jacket and carrying an orange shopping bag concealed 6 bracelets valued at $1188.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 22, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report that occurred on January 21, 2017. Neiman Marcus personnel report a white male wearing a black hat, black/white shirt, black vest, and dark pants put a jacket valued at $298.00 over his shoulder and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 23, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to the Burberry store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Burberry personnel report a black male wearing a black beanie, black puffy coat, dark jeans, white sneakers, and carrying a Nordstrom bag concealed 10 scarves valued at $4350.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 23, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to CVS at 187 Millburn Ave on a theft report. CVS personnel report an individual, later determined to be 51 year old Michael Rush out of Morristown, concealed 8 items valued at $86.91 and left the store without making payment. Mr. Rush was located near Annie Sez and the investigation led to his arrest for shoplifting. Mr. Rush was issued a summons and released.
