LIVINGSTON, NJ — Delvin Burton and Charlotte Jones-Burton, the owners of the new premium indoor cycling studio CycleBar Livingston, are adding to the growing list of new locations in towns and cities across the country by bringing the nationally recognized brand to 277 Eisenhower Parkway.

CycleBar Livingston, which celebrated its grand opening in September, provides clients of all ages and athletic ability a high-energy, full-body workout inside their state of the art CycleTheatre. The theatre provides a multi-sensory experience with audio, video and lighting technology on 48 custom bikes, each with a personal data monitor that tracks metrics including, miles, revolutions per minute (RPM), gear and time. After each class, clients are emailed individualized CycleStats, which include class rank, calories burned and average/max RPMs, as well as the class playlist.

According to Delvin Burton, the classes are led by specially trained instructors called CycleStars.

“Our CycleStar instructors are equal parts educator, DJ, drill sergeant, motivator, and friend," he said. "They encourage our clients, who range from beginner level and advanced, to Rock Your Ride. Every class is like a party on a bike.”

Burton added that the instructors help clients improve their performance and reach their goals by bringing “incomparable energy, training, enthusiasm, and charisma to each and every ride.”

The owners first heard about CycleBar shortly after celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary together.

“We took this amazing spin class together and right when I got off the bike I said to Delvin that we should look into indoor cycling as a business opportunity," said Jones-Burton. “After contacting them, we were invited to ‘Discovery Day.’  We were immediately impressed with the full-body workout and level of energy both the music and the instructors provide to the class. The next thing that blew us away was CycleGiving.”

CycleGiving is a 501(c)3 platform that allows individuals and organizations the opportunity to raise money for a charity they are passionate about.
