Suzzanne Douglas
Millburn, NJ July 9, 2015-   Mothering With Intention, a Millburn-based empowerment organization for mothers is making a play on the traditional storytime most are familiar with as they kick off their new podcast series, StoryTime for Moms.  Exactly what it sounds like, the podcast features hosts and sisters, Alyssa Worrell and Andrea Ferguson Peterson telling amazing stories about motherhood adventures to other moms.
On Monday, July 13th at 9pm EST, award winning actress and Maplewood resident, Suzzanne Douglas (Whitney, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, The Parent Hood, The Good Wife, Law and Order: SVU) joins the podcast as a special guest storyteller.  Listeners can call (770) 575-8292 to listen live. Ms. Douglas will share a unique story about her relationship with her daughter and an event that ultimately defined "personal image" for both of them. For those who wish to hear a recorded version, the podcast will be available Tuesday, July 14th on the organization's website.
StoryTime for Moms is twenty minutes of fun, lighthearted, compelling stories that are inspiring and uplifting. The focus is usually on a mom's intention for herself, child/children or family. Examples of past stories include "The mom whose intention was to raise her son to be a math genius" and "The mom of the youngest member of President Obama's staff whose intention was to never tell her son 'NO.'"
“Our podcast stories provide listeners with interesting perspectives on motherhood” says co-founder, Andrea Ferguson Peterson. "The powerful takeaways are hearing how a mother’s intention can produce a remarkable and often surprising result.”
Storytime for Moms is recorded live every Monday at 9pmEST. For more info visit,
