MILLBURN, NJ - Paper Mill Playhouse will hold its most important fundraiser of the year, the “Curtain Up on the 76th Season” Gala on May 2 at the Hilton Short Hills. Nearly 400 of the theater’s community of influential business executives, civic leaders, discerning consumers and tastemakers will gather together for an evening that reflects the heart, artistry, and vitality of Paper Mill Playhouse. This black tie evening includes dinner, dancing, an unforgettable auction, and unparalleled Broadway entertainment.
Television, screen and stage icon, Tony Danza, will accept the Frank Carrington Excellence in the Arts Award at Paper Mill’s Curtain Up on the 76th Season Gala. Following his critically acclaimed debut playing “Tommy Korman” in the hit world-premiere musical, Honeymoon in Vegas, we are thrilled to welcome Tony back and thank him for his unwavering support.
Paper Mill is also pleased to announce that we will be honoring Linda Bowden, Regional President New Jersey with PNC Bank, who will receive the Byrne/Kean Arts Advocate Award. Linda and PNC are playing an important leadership role in keeping Paper Mill and the theater arts so vibrant in our state.
We hope you will consider the various ways you can become involved, listed on the link below. Opportunities include a fabulous auction and keepsake journal, where we offer a range of tax-deductible options for participation with substantial marketing, branding, and entertainment benefits. Last year’s gala was an extraordinary event and sold out very quickly, if you are interested we encourage early participation.
