On March 21, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to the Prada store at The Mall at Short Hills on a credit card fraud report. Prada personnel report an Asian male wearing sunglasses, black hooded sweatshirt, and jeans attempted to purchase two handbags valued at $5170.00 using a counterfeit credit card. The actor left prior to the transaction being completed. Prada personnel additionally reported a theft that occurred on March 20, 2017. A black male wearing a green jacket, black pants, and Timberland boots put a pair of pants valued at $670.00 on in the dressing room and left the store without making payment. Both incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On March 21, 2017, Millburn Police Officer O’Neill stopped a 2015 Hyundai Sonata on Parsonage Hill Rd/Passaic Ave for speeding. The investigation led to the arrest of the 26-year-old driver Andres Quinones out of East Hanover on two outstanding traffic warrants out of Roxbury and Chester. Mr. Quinones was issued a summons for speeding and revoked driving and turned over to the Roxbury Police Department. 

On March 22, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Salemi stopped a 2013 Scion on Millburn/Wyoming for careless driving and failing to maintain a lane. The investigation led to the arrest of the 28-year-old driver Giovanni Rodriguez out of Ladson, SC for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Ms. Rodriguez was placed under arrest and charged with careless driving and possession of a controlled dangerous substance before being released on a summons.

On March 22, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to Kings on a theft report that occurred on March 20, 2017. Kings personnel report a dark skinned male wearing a green hat and coat asked an employee for change of 8 $100.00 bills. The actor distracted the employee and pocketed $280.00 in cash and left the store. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On March 23, 2017, Millburn Police Officers Kostovski and Tavares responded to the South Orange Police Department on a warrant arrest. Alysha Murray, age 29 out of Irvington, was placed under arrest on outstanding Millburn criminal warrants and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On March 23, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to a Whitney Rd residence on a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. The resident reports between 7:30 am and 6:45 pm unknown actor/s took a bag containing a cell phone and $4.00 from her 2005 Toyota Camry that was parked at Kings. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On March 23, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2003 Toyota Prius on JFK Pkwy/Parsonage Hill Rd for operating without a front license plate. The investigation led to the arrest of the 18-year-old driver Tareke Russell out of Irvington for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Russell was issued a summons and released.

On March 24, 2017, Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to a Spring St residence on a burglary report. The resident reports between 1:00-2:50 pm unknown actor/s forced open the rear door and ransacked the bedrooms. It is unknown at this time what was taken from the residence. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
