MILLBURN, NJ - Collin Frost was the Overall First Place Finisher in the 39thAnnual Investors President’s Cup Race, and Laura Cummings was the First woman to cross the finish line on Monday evening. Frost finished in 15 minutes and 23.85 seconds, and Laura in 18 minutes and 33.01 seconds.

Monday’s temperature and humidity soared, leading to a lower number of runners at the starting line. Many participants flooded the same-day registration lines with the final participants beating the clock by a minute and a half before race time.

A driving rain pummeled the racers during the race accompanied by thunder and lightening that lead some participants to drop from the course. Many gathered together after the race under the tent tops for some post-race celebrations. Participants enjoyed the Samuel Adams Beer truck and what appeared to be a limitless supply of bottled water. Additionally, racers and spectators enjoyed Philly pretzels, bananas courtesy of The Salad House and watermelon juice courtesy of Green Nectar.

Next year’s race will mark the 40thAnniversary of the Investor’s President Cup race. Plans are already underway to make the event its biggest and best yet.
