Salvatore Minardi Salon Works Year-Round to Raise and Donate Thousands To Help Charitable Organizations

In this season of beauty, joy and good will, there is a local business that has given the community all that and more.  The Salvatore Minardi Salon has raised and donated thousands of dollars for local organizations.  The American Cancer Society, Cheshire Home and The Red Lily Foundation are recipients of thousands of dollars raised this year alone.  In addition, salon gift cards and exclusive Minardi products have been donated to boost the cache of events held by many local organizations.

By capitalizing on special events as Bottle Hill Day and creating salon cut-a-thon events, Minardi is able to help increase funds and awareness for causes near and dear to the hearts of his clients.

Salvatore has been quoted as saying, “You take whatever you have and you help each other."  His staff participates in each event. Cutting and coloring with compassion, most times donating the entire day’s proceeds to the featured recipient.  Often the event’s scale is increased by inviting additional vendors who share, not only the vision of compassion but, a percentage of the day’s profit as well.  This way, Minardi gives a bit of exposure to fledgling companies while maintaining his creed of “Creating Today’s Beauty…”.

Looking forward, Minardi is hoping to expand his pet project, Beauty Will Cure Day, which benefits the American Cancer Society, by inviting other area salons to donate their day’s proceeds on March 29, 2013. For more information on participation, please call 973.443.4455.
