FLEMINGTON, N.J. – Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today announced he will hold his annual Service Academy Information Fair for Seventh Congressional District high school students on Saturday, June 17 at Raritan Valley Community College. Lance’s annual event allows students to meet with academy officials to learn more about the admissions process and how to pursue their interests in serving the Nation.
“It is an honor every year to meet the young people who step forward to be considered for appointment to one of our Nation’s service academies. I consider it a great responsibility to nominate talented students to serve our country,” said Lance. “The academy fair allows students and parents to talk directly with service academy admissions representatives to have their questions answered and gain an understanding of the competitive application process. I hope all interested high school students will attend. I enjoy getting to know these young leaders.”
