2015 marks the eighth season of the Farm & Fork Society, a local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture group). Serving residents of Millburn-Short Hills, Maplewood-South Orange, Summit, Livingston, West Orange and other surrounding neighborhoods, the Farm & Fork Society offerings include vegetables, fruit, poultry, farm fresh eggs, pasta and cider. The seasonal produce comes directly from the farmer and pick-up is every Friday from June 12 through November 20 in downtown Millburn.

New for the 2015 season is Early Bird pricing for all shares with the exception of cider. Early bird contracts must be received by March 1. Members can get Early Bird pricing for any or all shares. If members are not ready to commit there is flexibility to add on after March 1.

A CSA is a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production. Members pledge in advance to cover the anticipated costs of the farm and in return, they receive shares in the farm's bounty throughout the growing season. A CSA is invaluable to the farmer, providing him or her with the pre-production working capital necessary for a successful growing season.
