MAPLEWOOD. NJ - Millburn withstood a seventh-inning thread and held on for a 6-5 softball victory over Columbia on Monday.

Columbia scored two runs to come within a single tally in the final inning. Rachel Hubertus hit a home run, drove in two runs and scored three times for the Millers (8-7), who scored three runs in the sixth inning and one in the seventh to take a 6-3 lead.

Abigail Policarpio singled twice and drove in two runs and Katy Sheppard went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Millburn. Winning pitcher Julie Levine allowed just two earned runs and struck out four.
