MILLBURN, NJ - Millburn broke open a close game with 12 runs in the fourth inning and went on to record a five-inning, 15-4 softball victory over Bloomfield on Wednesday.

Katy Shepard went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Helen Casey was 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs scored and two RBI for Millburn (11-8), which was clinging to a 3-2 lead before its 12-run outburst in the fourth inning.

Madeline Swift banged out two hits and drove in two runs for the Millers. Bloomfield is 12-8.
