MILLBURN, NJ - Millburn High School’s student-run A Cappella group, Soulfege, has been invited to participate in the International Championship of High School A Cappella, or the ICHSAs.

The event is presented by Varsity Vocals. The group will compete in the Northeast Semifinal, along with 11 other groups in the region. Also featured are the defending national champions, Highlands Voices.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24 at Northern Highlands Regional High School, 298 Hillside Ave. in Allendale. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and are available at https://www.freshtix.com/events/ichsa-northeast-2015

Soulfege A Cappella was formed in the fall of 2008 and has been performing around the local area for seven years. Soulfege raises funds and awareness for Tunes to Teens, a nonprofit created by the Contemporary A Cappella Society. Soulfege has raised more than $1,000 annually for the cause during its spring benefit concert, SAVE (Students Aid Vocal Education).
