The South Orange Symphony concludes its 66th season with conductor Susan Haig, presenting music by Debussy, Franck, Glazunov, and Walton on Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 pm.  The concert will be held in Sterling Hall at South Orange Middle School, 70 North Ridgewood Road, South Orange, NJ.  The concert completes the symphony’s  first full season under the baton of Susan Haig.  Haig, a native of Summit, New Jersey, has lead numerous different orchestras across the country and internationally, and is now bringing her talents home to northern New Jersey.

National Weather Service Issues Heat Advisory thru Sunday for Millburn Township

MILLBURN, NJ —  A heat wave rolling into the area is expected to last through Sunday, with the National Weather Service (NWS) calling for a heat advisory for Millburn Township through 12:00 pm Sunday. However, an excessive heat watch runs through Monday evening.

Three High-End Retailers Hit by Thefts; Millburn Police Investigating

On June 19, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Crawn responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report a black male wearing a red hat, black winter coat, and tan backpack concealed 2 pairs of headphones valued at $498.00 in his backpack and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
